Your Arms Are
Trying to Tell You
Something
The emotional root of what shows up in your arms and the full five step process to decode and shift it
This guide is a deep dive into one of the most common body reflections I see. If this found you, there is a reason. Stay with me.
"If you are finding this guide, there is a layer of truth in what you are about to read. Your Higher Self does not bring information to your attention by accident. You are meant to see this."
What your arms are actually reflecting
Extra weight, flabbiness, or size in the arms is almost always connected to the giving and receiving dynamic in your life.
This is not about how many curls you do. This is about what your body is communicating on an energetic level. Your arms are literally the part of you that reaches out into the world that gives, that holds, that offers, that receives. And when something is out of balance in that dynamic, your body will show you.
Beating yourself up about what you are giving out into the world or what the world is giving back to you
Somewhere underneath the frustration with your arms, there is a belief running that what you have to offer is not landing. Not valued. Not enough. Or that you are pouring out constantly and nothing is coming back.
This can show up in your career, your business, your creative work, your relationships, or your purpose. Anywhere you are trying to give something of yourself and feeling like it is not being received the way you hoped.
"I keep giving and giving and nobody wants what I have to give."
Sound familiar? That feeling, that exhausted, invisible, why-am-I-even-trying feeling is the belief this reflection is pointing to. And it is a lie. But your nervous system does not know that yet. That is what we are going to change.
Five steps to get to the root
Walk through this slowly. The more honest you are with yourself, the more useful it gets.
Identify the emotional root
For the arms the emotional root is the giving and receiving dynamic. You are beating yourself up somewhere about what you are putting out into the world or what is coming back to you. That is your starting point. Just acknowledge it without judging it.
"I keep creating content but nobody engages."
"I give so much in this relationship but it never feels reciprocal."
"I have so much to offer but I cannot get anyone to pay attention."
"I am trying to build something meaningful but it is not gaining traction."
Name how you feel like it is being toward you
This is the question that unlocks everything. Not how do you feel emotionally, but how does the situation feel like it is being toward you? Give it a personality. Give it words. This is where the data lives.
"It feels like it is ignoring what I have to give."
"It feels uninterested. Like what I offer does not matter."
"It feels like it keeps taking from me without giving anything back."
"It feels like it does not see the value in what I bring."
Nail down the area of life it is showing up in
Where specifically do you feel like what you are giving is not being received? This is how you trace the reflection back to the area of life where the imbalance actually lives. Be honest here, it is often not where you expect.
Is it in my vocation — my career, business, or purpose work?
Is it in my friends — feeling unseen or undervalued by people I give to?
Is it financially — feeling like my effort is not converting to income?
Is it with my family — giving everything and feeling like it is never enough?
Find the root belief
Once you know the area of life, you can find the actual belief running underneath it. This is the story your nervous system has been using as a reference point, probably for a very long time. It almost always sounds like one of these:
"My information is not valuable."
"People do not care what I have to say."
"What I have to give is not what the world needs."
"I am not an authority. Who am I to teach this?"
"I give my best and it is still not enough."
Write yours down. Get specific. The more precise the belief, the more precisely you can shift it.
Build the new belief and prove it
This is where the real work happens and where most people stop too soon. We are not going to slap an affirmation on top of a wound and call it done. We are going to build a real, specific, provable new belief. Then we are going to collect sixty micro moments of evidence that it is true.
Keep reading, the next two sections walk you through exactly how to do this.
Suffocating the old belief, building the new one
You currently have a belief running that is a lie. Here is what it sounds like and what we are replacing it with.
You cannot just add a new belief on top of an old one. The old one has to be starved of evidence while the new one is being fed. That is how you actually shift the pattern, not through willpower or positive thinking, but through deliberately building a new reference point for your brain to run.
"My information is not valuable. I am not an authority. People do not care what I have to say. What I give does not land the way I want it to."
"I am a massive authority on what I teach. What I have to give is exactly what is needed. The right people receive it. My voice has value and impact."
Here is the thing. The fact that you are so hard on yourself about this? That is actually proof of the opposite. You do not get the wound without the gift that lives on the other side of it. The people who are meant to master something are the ones who feel it most acutely when they fall short. That is not weakness. That is calling.
Your ingredients
These are your new beliefs. Real, specific, provable. Read them slowly and feel where they land in your body.
An ingredient is not an affirmation you do not believe yet. It is a statement that is already true. You just have not been collecting evidence for it. Your job now is to find the proof that it is real.
"I am a massive authority on the information and experience I carry. Everything I have learned, lived, and healed is exactly what someone else needs to hear. My time, my voice, and my knowledge are valuable and exclusive and I have the ability to create any amount of impact I choose."
"All the information and tools I have is more than enough and life changing. What I have to give to the world is exactly what is needed to their lives and help them reach their fullest potential."
Write these out in your own words if needed. Make them feel true, even if only a fraction true right now. That fraction is the starting point.
Micro moment it: sixty reps to rewire
This is the neuroscience piece. This is how you make the new belief stick at a cellular level, not through repetition of words but through repetition of real, demonstrated proof.
Your brain forms new neural pathways through evidence. It takes approximately sixty repetitions of a new belief paired with actual proof for that belief to become non-declarative. Meaning automatic. Meaning it stops being something you have to consciously choose and starts being something your brain just runs on its own.
So every day you are looking for micro moments. Small, real, undeniable proof that your ingredient is already true. Here is what that actually looks like:
Your Instagram post gets five likes and two comments. That is proof. Five people stopped scrolling for you. Two people were moved enough to respond. That is authority in action, even if it does not feel big yet.
Someone DMs you asking for more information about what you do. That is proof. Something you put out reached someone and made them want more. That is impact.
A friend calls you when they are going through something hard because you are the one they trust. That is proof. You are already the person people come to. That is the authority you are trying to build because it already exists.
You share something and one person says "I needed this today." That is proof. One is not nothing. One is the beginning of everything. Every massive teacher started with one.
You teach something to someone, a concept, a reframe, a tool and you see it click for them in real time. That is proof. You have the ability to shift someone's perspective. That is the definition of impact and authority.
Repetitions of real, demonstrated proof to form a new neural pathway
Once a day for 60 days. Twice a day for 30 days. Or as many as you can find today.
Every time you find a micro moment, feel it in your body, say your ingredient out loud or in your mind, and let it land. That is one rep. Do not skip the feeling part. The emotion is what encodes it.
And here is what nobody tells you about this process. You do not need the big wins. You need the small ones, repeated, felt, and owned. That is what builds the new groove in your brain. That is what changes what your arms reflect back to you.
"You do not get the wound without the gift that lives on the other side of it. If you are hard on yourself about this, that means you are meant to master it."
