The Body Reflection Decoder

Your body has been telling you something specific for years. This is how you read it, and what to do once you have.

Start hereYour body is not the problem you have been trying to solve.

It's the place the problem is showing up.

There is an area of your life right now where you do not like what you are seeing. And I'm not talking about your body. Your body is where it's reporting.

That's what a reflection is. Not punishment, not bad luck, not a body that failed you. Information. The people, the situations, the events, and yes, the physical stuff, they all mirror your self image back to you so you can actually see it.

Your self image is the internal perception you carry of yourself, plus how you believe other people perceive you. That second half is the part almost nobody teaches, and it's the half that runs your body.

You do not get treated according to what you're capable of. You get treated according to how whole you feel. Your body included.

So when your lower back locks up the same week money feels tight, that isn't a coincidence and it isn't only structural. When the weight comes back the second you stop white knuckling it, that isn't a discipline failure. You are the most disciplined woman in every room you walk into. If discipline were the answer here, you'd have solved this decades ago.

Stay with me, because the rest of this is the actual mechanism.

Two things before we go anywhere

This complements your care. It does not replace it. Go to the doctor. Go to the chiropractor. Get the Botox if you want it, I'm not your mom. Nothing on this page is medical, clinical, or diagnostic, and nothing on it is a reason to skip an appointment. It's the layer underneath the one you're already handling.

I am not promising you a number. Not a size, not a weight, not a date. What this work changes is your relationship with your body and the grip you've had on it. That's the honest claim, and in my experience it's also the one that actually moves the physical thing.

The methodThe three step decode.

Three moves. Not ten. You can run this in about six minutes on your kitchen floor.

Step one

What is my body doing, and what is the feeling underneath it?

Name the physical thing plainly. The shoulder. The bloat. The weight around your middle. The line between your eyebrows. Then find the emotional root, using the reference below.

One word if you can get it there. Pressure. Guilt. Fear. Anger. Unseen. If two come up, take the one that made you flinch.

Step two

Where am I being that way toward myself, and which of the eight areas does it live in?

This is one move, not two, and it's the one everybody wants to skip. Your body named a feeling. Now find where you are doing that exact thing to yourself, and find the address.

The eight areas: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social, Family, Financial, Career and Vocation, Passion and Hobby.

It will show up in three or four of them. It only starts in one. Go for the one you least want to write down.

Step three

Find the proof that it isn't true, and emotionally connect to it.

Not an affirmation. Proof. A real moment from your actual life, however small, where the opposite was true. Then sit in it long enough to feel something. Thirty seconds of real feeling beats thirty repetitions of a sentence you don't believe.

Your brain keeps receipts. It will reject a claim it has no evidence for, every single time. So you hand it evidence.

What it looks like when you actually run it

The body thing: lower back, flaring for about three weeks.

Step one. Lower back holds financial worry. The feeling underneath, in one word: unsafe.

Step two. Where am I being unsafe toward myself with money. And it isn't the Financial area at all, it's Career. I have not raised my rate in two years because I keep waiting for someone to tell me I'm allowed to.

Step three. The proof: the client last spring who paid the higher number without blinking and then referred two people. Sit in that for thirty seconds until you feel the way it felt.

The back is not the assignment. The rate is the assignment. That's the whole point of a decode.

The referenceWhat the body part is actually saying.

Find yours. Ask whether it lands. If it doesn't, keep reading, the right one usually makes you a little uncomfortable.

Nothing matched that. Try a simpler word, like back, hip, or jaw.

The faceWhat your lines are reporting.

Your face is not betraying you. It's reporting on you.

Your low self worth doesn't live in your face. It just shows up there. Every worry you have been carrying about how you're seen, and about where your life is headed, has to go somewhere. Your face is where it lands.

And it is freakishly specific.

Lines and where they come from

Across the foreheadWorry about how other people are perceiving you
Beside the eyesWorry about the future. Am I running out of time, is it too late for me
Around the smileNot fully letting yourself come back to happy after a hard few years
Jaw and along the jawlineAnger you are holding and have not said out loud
Neck and throatNot being able to see both sides of something. Words you never let out
Around the mouth and lipsDifficulty speaking, and difficulty speaking your truth
The whole face, generallyHow you perceive yourself, and how you believe others perceive you

To say it plainly

Get the Botox if you want it. I'm not your mom, and I am not telling you to skip a single thing you enjoy or a single appointment you've booked.

But if the fear underneath is still running the show, your face is just going to keep reporting it. That's not vanity and it's not a character flaw. It's a body doing exactly what a body does.

What's nextNow build the ingredient.

Decoding it feels incredible and changes nothing on its own. I'm telling you that as someone who spent a year collecting insights like they were trophies.

Step three is where the shift actually happens, and step three is an ingredient. Emotion, plus identity, plus a real memory your brain cannot argue with.

Take the root you just found and build one line against it. Then root to it four or five times a week, with real feeling, for about ten minutes. Not chanting. Feeling.

Example, from the lower back decode

I am the best of the best at everything I do.

The proof: the client last spring who paid the higher number without blinking, and then sent me two more.

Then get physical and release it. Box, scream in the car, dance in the kitchen, write it out and burn the page. The emotion has to leave the body it's been living in.
