This Privacy Policy explains how Melanie Watson, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website at melaniewatson.co, our free community, and every webinar, reading, course, program, mentorship, digital product, guide, quiz, podcast, newsletter, and social media account we offer now or in the future, whether free or paid (together, the "Services").
We work with women in the United States and around the world, and people trust us with personal things. We take that seriously.
1Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact details, such as your name, email address, and, if you give it, your phone number and location.
- Purchase and billing details, such as what you bought, your billing address, and payment status. Your card details are processed by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Account and profile information you add on community or course platforms.
- Questions you submit for readings, quiz and form answers, posts, comments, and messages you send us or share in the community.
- Live session participation, including your name, image, voice, and questions when you attend a recorded session.
Sensitive information you choose to share. Readings and community conversations can involve your health, body, fertility, relationships, beliefs, emotional experiences, or family. You decide what to share. By submitting this kind of information to us for a reading, session, or program, you give us your explicit consent to use it to deliver that Service to you. Please share only what you want us to use, and avoid sharing medical records, government ID numbers, or financial account details.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, open our emails, or interact with our ads, we and our providers may collect device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, links clicked, and whether you opened an email, using cookies, pixels (including the Meta Pixel), and similar technologies.
Information from others. If you interact with us on Instagram or Facebook, including through automated direct messages, we receive the information those platforms make available to us, such as your username and the messages you send.
2How we use your information

- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
- To send you emails about your purchases, sessions, and account.
- To send you our newsletter and offers, if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email.
- To record live sessions and include them in our free or paid products, as described in our Terms of Use.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another place with similar laws, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you; your consent (including explicit consent for sensitive information and for marketing emails where required); our legitimate interests in running and improving our business and keeping the community safe; and compliance with legal obligations.
3What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your reading questions, posts, or sensitive information with advertisers. We may share comments and testimonials as described in our Terms of Use, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
4Who we share information with

We may also share information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of us, our members, or others, or as part of a sale or restructuring of our business.
Anything you post in a community space can be seen by other members of that space.
5International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on our providers' approved transfer safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as you have an account or relationship with us and as long as needed to deliver the Services, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. 8Your choices and rights
